
There are days when everything feels just a bit too much.
The emotions arrive uninvited. The thoughts are heavy. You look in the mirror and just don’t feel like you. And even though you might have lovely plans or people around you who care, there’s a pull to retreat. To disappear under the covers and let the day pass you by.
I had one of those days today - which happens to be my birthday.
I won’t go into the full details, but it was one of those mornings where the emotions bubbled up fast. Where everything I’ve been holding suddenly felt like too much to carry. The kind of day where even the most grounded tools can feel out of reach, and all I wanted to do was go back to bed and cry all day.
And yet, I chose not to.
I cried.
I paused.
I chose to stay present and in my body.
I gave myself the space to process what was underneath the overwhelm.
With Holy Fire Reiki & Belief Coding®, I was able to meet myself in that moment to meet it with curiosity and compassion to see where it was coming from. And doing this changed everything.
The shift was instant once done. The emotion and burden lifted after a 30 minute session. I could face the day after all, and I had a smile on my face and felt more uplifted.
What was really beautiful is that I have moved past it without choking it down.
Without judgment over how the day had gone so far.
I hadn’t ‘let myself down at all’ by feeling all the things, as I’d moved through something important. Huge actually from my teenage years that ran deep.
This was about making space for the messy middle, where we are full to the brim of trapped emotions and negative events that have shaped who we are today.
This is what comes up with my clients too. A lifetime of events that connect to where they are now and what is holding them back from where they want to be, whether that be in life or business.
The thing is, you don’t have to hold on to this any more. You can create space for healing and find a method that works for you.
So if today feels heavy, or hard, or uncertain, give yourself permission to pause. To breathe. To feel what you’re feeling, without needing to fix it straight away, be curious as to where it is coming from and work on it with love.
The clarity can come. The energy can return. You can feel upliftment.
